250β300 g brinjals (small or medium) β 5 to 8 pieces
2 tbsp oil (groundnut oil recommended)
1 onion β thinly sliced
2 green chillies β slit
Curry leaves β few
Coriander leaves β for garnish

Β½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1Β½ tsp coriander powder
Β½ tsp cumin powder
Salt β to taste
