The OnePlus 13 series, OnePlus’s latest flagship lineup, was officially announced on October 31, 2024, with the OnePlus 13 model released in China on November 1, 2024. The global launch is scheduled for January 7, 2025, with availability in India expected shortly thereafter.

Design and Display: The OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, offering a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The screen boasts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright conditions. The device is built with premium materials, including a glass front protected by Crystal Shield super-ceramic glass, and is available in Black Eclipse, Arctic Dawn, and Midnight Ocean color options. It also carries an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Performance: Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring top-tier performance and ample space for apps and media.

Camera System: Co-developed with Hasselblad, the OnePlus 13’s camera setup includes three 50MP sensors: a wide, an ultrawide, and a periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. This versatile arrangement caters to various photography needs, from expansive landscapes to detailed close-ups. The front-facing camera is a 32MP sensor designed for high-quality selfies and video calls.

Battery and Charging: The device houses a substantial 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This setup allows for rapid charging times, with the device reaching 100% charge in approximately 36 minutes.

Software: The OnePlus 13 runs on Android 15, layered with OxygenOS 15 for international markets and ColorOS 15 in China, providing a user-friendly interface with a range of customization options.

Additional Features: The smartphone includes an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security, supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for robust connectivity, and features full-area NFC for convenient mobile payments. It also comes equipped with an infrared port, allowing it to function as a remote control for various electronic devices.

Pricing and Availability: In China, the OnePlus 13 starts at ¥4,499 (approximately ₹51,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. While official pricing for the Indian market has not been announced, it is expected to be competitive within the premium smartphone segment.
